The main theme is “Bridging Cultures with Business Experience”. Call for: journalists to cover Olympic Games

Agência Pública, a nonprofit investigative journalism organization, is inviting applications to its Residencies Program. The organization will host reporters from independent media between July 20 and August 20 at Casa Pública, a cultural center for investigative journalism. The program seeks to support international coverage of the impact caused by the World Cup and the Olympic Games in Brazil. Applicants should be reporters who work for independent media outside Brazil, must speak Portuguese, English or Spanish, and are interested in investigating issues related to human rights and the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Call for: Photojournalists looking to pursue projects

Photojournalists looking to pursue projects of personal and journalistic significance can apply for a grant. The Grants for Editorial Photography, sponsored by Getty Images, support compelling social, political and cultural stories. A total of five grants of US$10,000 will be provided.
